Armed Defender Gear Reviews
United States
Приєднався 28 вер 2008
A trusted UA-cam video reviewer since 2008. I focus on simple format reviews of firearms, blades, tools, ammunition, and tactical survival gear. I keep it real, and budget minded for the blue collar folks like me.
Rifles, pistols, shotguns, knives, axes, multitools, camping gear, survival gear, and tactical gear videos are all here.
My goal is to have fun and provide free useful information to all people that have an interest in taking care of themselves, and family. I believe in God, family, and being independent.

Springfield XDM vs XDM Elite

I enjoy the XDM lineup from Springfield Armory. This video outlines the changes made from the now discontinued XDM to the current XDM Elite model.
Glock 17/19 better than Sig P320 for Military Contract

I think the use of the current sig models is a waste of taxpayer money.

GRAB Bag Gunslinger - Awesome carry option
Your hands are not that big about the same size as mine, Hickok has big mitts.
Exactly the information I was looking for. Thank you.
Just picked up the osp model today for 348.00
I was thinking "22 for self defense no way" but that's with my Kel Tec & its strange design that allows an ejected case to get stuck between the incoming round and the top of the slide. This design and others don't have that. But I still think a 22 would have to be part of a 2 gun system. All Federal Punch is is their version of the CCI Stinger. They're duplicate rounds.
on mine, the reticle is always out of focus. It's really bad. How can they make something so bad? I'm glad you posted this video with the horrible looking reticle and I know it's not just mine.
Eotech is a holographic optic, not a red dot, so the reticle by nature will not be as crisp as a red dot. Additionally, if you’re focusing on the reticle when aiming instead of utilizing both eyes open/target focus then yes, it will always appear blurry.
Will it fit a P320x Compact?
I got the same exact model and really like it. Good review!🤙
How is the balance? Does the pommel have enough weight to even things out? They are nice looking.
I still love these guns
I've had many of these pistols subcompact the full size the extended slide.I have put a bunch of these and have found them durable as well as accurate my 45 compact will shoot one hole groups. And once you master the trigger it will shoot.
You’re Paying For The Look 🤣 It’s A 1911 I’m Looking For A Stainless Steel and Black One
Ive never heard one good thing about this company
What is the distance/yardage they suggest you zero that at?
50
I wonder if it accepts SD9/SD9VE mags...
The lifetime warranty on highpoint can't be beat.
Thanks! 👍
i finally got one for my b day, need to experiment with it.
M1 carbine from a 9 inch barrel? I bet that's loud!
7.99 now😭
I'll also add Escrima/Kali/Arnis, works empty hand or with a tool/weapon. Combine that something else like BJJ. Something everyone can do right away though is stop constantly burying your face in a phone and take the earbuds/headphones off and pay attention when you go places...and that doesn't even cost $.
Please respond, does this have a commercial buffer tube or milspec? Literally picking the same one up tomorrow and it has the oem stock on it and I want a car15 stock on it
I like it. Great for beginners. Condor is what got me started and it never failed me.
Those tanto type knives remind me of the KM-2000 German army knife
......so carry batteries. The fuck are you even talking about?
Yep still one of the best rifles ever! I shot orange clay targets from 500 yards with me and my buddy back in 2015 and we were hitting em all day. At first we didn't think we were hitting them but when we drove back up to the targets we saw that we had shot out the center of the clay pigeons and we were seeing the orange of the outter ring thinking we weren't hitting them.
What kind of knife is that? Looks nice
They're both great guns and I have both. I prefer the m&p over the Glock because I shoot it better. I paid $599 for the m&p optics ready with the threaded barrel and $629 for the g19x optics ready with the threaded barrel. Both came with metal suppressor height sights and two magazines.
Just got a Vp9 match and I love it
nice what iron sights (fixed) are you using?
Midwest Industries
Are you sure there isn't a guy behind the camera tapping a pot with a spoon
Jiu Jitsu is great but you don’t want to be rolling around on pavement in an actual fight. Krav is good. Avoidance is best.
Best to have ground and standup skills
The fattys wont like this one. 1000% agree. Even if your shooting, physical fitness is key💯
From the ages of 11-14 I learned Taekwondo which for me was more of an art form to teach and instill discipline. In my early 30s I studied Krav Maga for a couple of years and what I learned was absolutely amazing and practical hand to hand combat skills that put Karate and Taekwondo to shame. I would love to refresh myself and get back into it. As Kevin Michalowski the Editor in Chief of USCCA Concealed Carry Magazine will often say, “The best fight is the one you’re not in”.
It's on a very good sale right now, hence checked out the review for a gun I don't need. Yes, being an adult is not easy.
I have a mossberg, 185 dB. I cut down stock to adjust the lenghth to pull And added a remington rubber pad she is Awesome. I know this is an older video, but it still has a bunch of great information. It's a 20 gauge, not a whole lot of recoil. I felt bad about cutting the stock, but I needed the correct length of pull They're great. I paid 65 for mine and in great shape
What mag Extention are you using?
I wanted to learn Karate years ago but almost all the teaching near me was and still is exclusively geared towards youth only.
You should look into a boxing club, if there's any available. A decent boxer isn't super well rounded but will have the advantage over just about any untrained attacker.
Getting crippled. My karate days are well behind me.
Pepper spray as well.
Yes If you only have a hammer everything is a nail.good hand self defense training especially for females.
Thanks very much, I hope! I got one of these at a good price, but the included magazine only holds 15 rounds. My gun looks exactly like yours, but I'm worried that there are different generations of this gun. I'm going to try to order one or two of the MecGar magazines. I hope it works out.
these were $199 on sale 2 yrs ago here
Actually, Glock still produces the 34 and others with the slide cut, just not on the gen 5, only Gen 1-4.
"Sharp" looking knife.. How sharp..? Table cutting sharp.. Seriously though, that is a good looking little automatic. The grip reminds me of the Cold Steel Voyager (large) series, the way the grip sweeps down towards the back, and the large index finger choil. It is a very ergonomic and comfortable handle. Perfect carry size too. But even with all the safeties and modern designs, I still can't pocket anything "spring-y.."
Thank you!
Dude I’m so freaking excited… I pick mine up tomorrow!!!! Yessssss
Damn that thing is purrddy...
Better than my schrade
wow, this sling is a piece of garbage, not all parts included, impossible to mount anything but a 60's style AR, really garbage
Sks is a damm good rifel light handy easy to use perfect defense and target and Truck gun
